Post Up - Postcards From Home

One new habit I have picked up in these days of being home that I am thrilled about is drawing and coloring. Swapping a commute for the quiet fun of playing around with my long-neglected art tools was an easy trade. What to do with all this pent up art? I decided on postcards.

It’s a strange experience to collectively have our social lives changed so dramatically. I can’t help but think how much more difficult it would be if we didn’t have all the technology we use to connect with each other. That said, we all feel Zoom fatigue and my cell phone won’t shut up about my screen time.

Postcards are a fun, tangible way of saying “wish you were here” when you don’t particularly need a response. Because here we all are, living separately but continuing on all the same. Getting fun mail is truly a joy and does not happen nearly often enough.
