Happy Year at a Glance

I’m obsessed with counting down time. It’s really true—I have OCD—and one element that draws my focus and compulsive behaviors is time passing and "how much is left" or how much is being "taken" by a given activity. Thus I have a deep appreciation of time-related tools and I absolutely love calendars and clocks. (And I also think there should be more of them in public places, but that’s a longer conversation for another time.)

From my career as an in-house designer at an investment firm, I also love to combine utility and fun in my work. I try to turn what might otherwise be mundane objects into uniquely useful artifacts that people might enjoy and save.

So this year I turned our household holiday card into an excuse to make a calendar layout I’d long been picturing: a look at our entire trip around the sun all on a handy lil quick reference card you can tuck anywhere.
