Cove Street Capital (CSC) is an LA-based Value Investment shop where I created and managed our design assets in-house, from the company’s founding spin off from a larger firm in July 2011 until October 2020.
Cove Street was founded in LA’s south bay beach community, and the logo design nods to classic Cali surf companies that formed around the efforts of passionate surfers within their own communities. As a real life valley girl I grew up beaching it in Billabong, Hang Ten, and the like. As a real life design professional I find myself returning again to the eye-catching imagery from the scene: bold, clean lines, smart pops of color, and soothing geometric shapes.
